This policy explains how The Golden Leaf, a DBA of Redd LLC, 3093 Village Point Road, Chesterton, Indiana 46304 (“The Golden Leaf,” “we”) collects and uses your information when you visit goldenleafcigars.com, shop with us, book Cigar Maker for a Day or send an event inquiry.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, email, phone, billing and shipping address, what you bought and order history.
- Bookings and gifts: session dates, guest names you provide, and gift recipient name, email and message.
- Event inquiries: the details you submit in our event form.
- Payment: card details are entered into a secure form provided by our payment gateway (NMI) and sent directly to them. We never see or store your full card number. We keep only the last four digits, card type and transaction ID.
- Technical information: basic data your browser sends (such as IP address and browser type), and cookies needed to run the cart and checkout.
How we use it
- To process, ship and support your orders, tickets and gift codes.
- To verify you are 21 or older and comply with tobacco laws, including keeping sales records required by law.
- To send order, shipping, ticket and gift emails.
- To send updates about new blends, Cigar Maker dates and lounge events only if you opt in at checkout. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share only what’s needed with the services that help us operate:
- Our payment gateway and processor (NMI, through AllayPay) to process payments.
- EasyPost and USPS to create shipping labels and deliver your order.
- Brevo, to send our emails.
- Kinsta, which hosts our website.
- Government authorities when required by law, such as tobacco tax and age-verification rules.
Cookies
We use cookies needed to keep your cart and checkout working, and to remember that you confirmed you’re 21+ during your visit. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we’ll update this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep order and sales records as long as needed for tax, tobacco compliance and accounting purposes, then delete them. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
Your choices
You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we’re required by law to keep. Email orders@goldenleafcigars.com.
Age
Our website and products are for adults 21 and older. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
